The Result

Dewatering Services designed a dewatering scheme comprising of 12 wells each drilled to a depth of 21m below ground level. A shell and suger drilling rig was used to bore a 350mm diameter hole. The wells were designed to accommodate pumps of 60 m3/hr capacity and these pumps lowered the groundwater to below the cofferdam invert level for the 20-week duration of the project.
